Dr. Samuel H. Keedy, ex-United States Consul to Rheims and Grenoble, France, died at St. Agnes' Hospital on Monday night of heart disease. He was born in Washington county, Maryland, was the son of the late Daniel Keedy, of Boonsboro, and brother of the Rev. C. L. Keedy and the late H. H. Keedy of Hagerstown. During the Civil War he served as assistant surgeon at Lincoln and Providence Hospitals, Washington, and at the Government Hospital at New Orleans. He was appointed Consul to Rhelms by President Cleveland. He is survived by a widow and one daughter, the wife of Dr. W. C. Goodell, of Philadelphia.

Remains of Dr. Samuel H. Keedy Interred at Bonnie Brae Cemetery.
The funeral of Dr. Samuel H. Keedy, who died last Monday at St. Agnes' Hospital, took place yesterday from Corpus Christi Catholic Church. A requiem mass was said by Rev. J. F. Nolan. The pallbearers were employees of Messrs. Henry W. Jenkins & Sons, who were the undertakers. Interment was at Bonnie Brae Cemetery.
