David D. Keedy was the son of Daniel Keedy, 1799-1876, and Elizabeth Sophia Miller Keedy, 1809-1880. He was b. on 16 Feb 1829 in Washington Co., MD. He was a minister of the United Brethren Church. He married Lucinda Brechbill in 1855 in Washington Co., MD. David & Lucinda had nine children. They were: Daniel D., 1856, Edward Everett, 1869, Maria Louisa, 1858, Lillie M., 1861, Cyrus Christian, 1864, Horace B., 1867, John Lincoln, 1869, Anna M., 1874, and David Homer, 1878.
