"Mrs. Adolphina Beer for many years a resident of Barton died at her home in that village last Saturday morning, Nov. 13, 1909 after an illness of one year's duration with tuberculosis. Deceased was born in Austria in 1856. She came to this country when quite young and settled first in Denver Colo., from there she went to Milwaukee and from the latter place came to Barton. She is survived by her husband, Anton Beer, and seven children. They are Jacob, Albert and Paulina of Milwaukee, Frank of Portland, Ore., and Mary, Anton and George at home. The funeral took place Monday from the St. Mary's church, Rev. Rossback officiating. Interment was made in cemetery at Milwaukee."
