Mrs. Matilda Padgett of 3225 La Tierra Street, passed away on October 24, 1947. A native of De Soto, Wisconsin, she had been a resident of Pasadena for 22 years.
She is survived by her husband, Percy Padgett; 4 sons, Lester Abnet, Bart Carroll, George Carroll of Pasadena, and Roy Abnet of Glendale; a sister, Mrs. Clarence Case of Yucaipa; and a brother George Edward Doyle of Portland, Oregon.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 3:00 p.m. at the chapel of Turner & Stevens Co., Marengo Avenue at Holly Street, Rev. F. C. Benson Bellis officiating. Interment, Mountain View Cemetery.
