William was the son of Chester and Rhoda Weeks Kingsley. Cemetery records say he died 3/8/1827. Records at the Clarendon Town Hall show 3/18/1827. The Rutland Weekly Herald extracts by Dawn Hance say he was 3 years 26 days. That would be March 18, 1827. He died from the measles. He is buried next to a brother, also named William, and in the same row as a sister-in-law, Rust Winnie Perkins Kingsley, and a niece and nephew, Harriet and Horace Kingsley. His grandparents, John and Thankful Slade Weeks, are buried close by. William's parents are buried in Brandon at the Congregational Church Cemetery.
