She was born Feb. 22, 1935 in Littlestown, PA; Myrtle was the daughter of the late Harry and Ida (Pitzer) Good. She was a 1952 Littlestown High School graduate and a homemaker and a farmer along with her late husband.
Surviving are her daughters, Sandra J. Lawrence and her husband Donald, and Kathy S. Ambrose and her husband Jeff Mowery, all of Hanover, PA; her sons, John W. Ambrose and his wife Debra, of Hanover, PA; and Bruce E. Ambrose and his wife Kathy, and Wayne D. Ambrose and his wife Juli, all of Littlestown, PA; her seven grandchildren; her great-grandson; her sister Doris Sharrer of New Midway, MD.; her sister-in-law Katherine Ambrose; and her brother-in-law Fred Fissell. Myrtle was predeceased by her two brothers, Melvin and Charles Good; and her three sisters, Bessie Keilholtz, Pearl Fissell and Elva Barnes.
She was a lifelong member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, Littlestown, PA. Myrtle loved to read, enjoyed watching the Patriots and the Orioles and was well-known for her pie baking.
Funeral service is Saturday, Dec. 29, at 11 a.m. at Little’s Funeral Home, Littlestown, PA. Viewing is Friday 6 to 8 p.m. Interment is in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Littlestown, PA.
