Rafael N. Leos, 59, of 2505 Bolivar, died Friday afternoon in a Houston hospital after an illness of several weeks. A native of Lockhart, he came to Corpus Christi in 1946 from Ganado as a construction contractor. A veteran of World War II, he served in France and Germany and was a member of the American GI Forum. He was a member of the Gollihar Baptist Mission.

A prayer service will be today in the Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be tomorrow at Seaside Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. J. R. Aldape, pastor of the Gollihar Baptist Mission officiating. Burial will be in Seaside Memorial Park Cemetery with full military honors.

Survivors include his wife, Maria; three daughters, Mrs. Thelma Holland of Corsicana, Mrs. Benita Sinclair of Bremerton, Wash., and Mrs. Dora Amaya of Corpus Christi; three sons, Camilo Leos of San Antonio, Atilano Leos and Joe Leos of Houston; four sisters, Mrs. Alejandra Leos of Houston, Mrs. Otilia Davila of Bryan, Mrs. Petra Gonzalez and Mrs. Angelita Ramirez, both of Ganado; three brothers, Pete [Pedro] and Manuel Leos, both of Ganado and Jesse [Jesus] Leos of San Antonio; one half-brother, Herman [Merejildo] Espinosa of Fullerton, Calif.; and 17 grandchildren.
