Maria Capelo Leos was born October 30, 1913 in Lockhart, Texas. Went to be with the Lord on November 24, 2002. She was a member of Gardendale Baptist Church where she served in the Nursery for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Rafael N. Leos and a son Prvt. First Class Leonardo Leos.
She is survived by a twin sister Gregoria Chavez, a brother Teodoro Capelo and daughters, Thelma (Don) Holland of Corsicana, Texas, Benita (William) Sinclair, Washington State, Dora (Mack) Summers of , Texas; sons: Camilo Leos of Dallas, Texas, Atilano and Joe Leos of Corpus Christi, Texas; 27 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. Pall bearers are her grandsons.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2002 at Seaside Chapel. Services will be conducted on Monday, November 25, 2002 with Interment following at Seaside Memorial Park.
