Lieut. Samuel Adams was born on June 13, 1731, in Canterbury, Connecticut, the son of Capt. Samuel Adams and Sarah Cady Adams, the daughter of Richard Davis Adams Jr. and Mary Cady. He first married Lydia Adams the daughter of Solomon Adams and Abigail Munroe. They had two children together: Ens. Samuel and Lydia. He married secondly to Eunice Anna Webb Cook, widow of Samuel Cook. They had three children: Eunice, Mary and Richard Adams. He died in 1808 in his hometown, having lived a long life of 77 years, and was buried in Scotland, Connecticut.Married, in Canterbury, CT:

2) Eunice Webb (1732 - 1820) 8 Feb 1770
