Dutch, as he was known by family and friends took great pride in his yard, was an adoring pet owner, a lifelong Green Bay Packer fan and also enjoyed golfing. He is survived by his wife; Pat, three sons; Tienas Charles of Texas, James Herrin (Jane) of Racine, Mark Herrin (Yvonne) of Chilton, a daughter; Cheryl Kaiser of Plymouth, Grandchildren; Aaron, James Jr, Mitchell, Brian (Ashley), Robert, Brandon, Mallory (Chuck), Mac and Angela, eight great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings; Rose (Charles) Schouten, Hilda Norton & Donna (Donald) Bartelt. Dutch is further survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Evelyn, a brother, Paul, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday January 5, 2019 at Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home (815 6th St. Kiel) with Dutch's grandson Brandon Herrin officiating. Veterans Honors will be conducted at the Funeral Home following services. Family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00pm until the time of Service at 2:00pm. Burial will take place at the Kiel City Cemetery at a later date.
