Ethel Lucy Paukner, age 99, passed away peacefully on December 29th, 2018 in Kenosha, WI. Eldest child of Joseph and Martha (Fetzer) Baldwin. Ethel was married to Louis Paukner for 40 years. She was the proud mother of Louis P. (Glenda) Paukner, Joseph A. (Laura) Paukner, Doris E. (Ron) Matson and Ricky L. (Dawn) Paukner. Ethel is the grandmother of 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Ethel was an avid member at her local church and was involved in the Ladies Aid Club. She was very passionate about helping out in her community. She was also part of a Homemakers Club. She was a Picasso with her quilting skills in the Busy Bee Club. She was also a VERY proud member of Daughters of the American Revolution.
She is survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Martha; siblings: Norma E. Schneiderwent, Alton F. Baldwin, Evan J. Baldwin, James H. Baldwin, baby brother; who died at birth, daughter-in-law Dawn Paukner and grandson William Matson.
Services will be held on Friday, January 4th, 2019 at St. Marks Lutheran Church in Symco, Wisconsin. Visitation will be held at 11:30 a.m. followed by service at noon. She will be placed to rest at Union Cemetery, Symco, WI.
