Trudy Jean McClarnon of Ponca City, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, January 11, 2019, at her home in Ponca City at the age of 71 years.

Trudy Jean McClarnon was born on November 1, 1947, in Blackwell to Lester Guy and Wanda Verly (Potts) Watkins. She grew up in Blackwell and attended Blackwell Public Schools. Following her education she married Jack McClarnon on February 22, 1967, in Blackwell and she served her family as a homemaker. She also, along with her husband, owned and operated McClarnon TV and Appliance Store in Blackwell. She later worked as an independent home health care provider until her retirement in 2005. She was a member of the Upward Call Ministry in Blackwell. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by three daughters, Kim McClarnon of Newkirk, Dorinda Hawkins of Ponca City, and Kandy Keeney and husband Chad of Tulsa; a sister, Renea Brady; two brothers, Bill Watkins of Kaw City and Ronnie Watkins of Blackwell; an aunt and uncle, Cecil and Shirley Watkins of Sand Springs; ten grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Lanett Catt.

Services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 16th in the Roberts and Son Funeral Home Chapel in Blackwell with Rev. Carolyn Rickner of Upward Call Ministry officiating. Burial will follow in the Blackwell Cemetery.

Casketbearers will be Coltan Armstrong, Austin Emmel, Cody Hawkins, Rusty Watkins, Travis Watkins and Chad Keeney. Bill and Ronnie Watkins will serve as honorary casketbearers.
