Theodore was a native of Hannover, Germany. Prior to 1854 he immigrated to the United States and settled in Louisville, Kentucky. On 28 Nov 1854 he married Eva Henry and they had six children: Rose, Mary, Elizabeth, Frank, Annie and John. He was a carpenter who worked in chair making and cabinetry. Theodore died at his home, 2324 Duncan Street, of cancer of the leg. He was 64.
