Margaret’s first marriage was to Thomas James Lang on October 6, 1897 in Menasha (marriage record attached to this memorial). Her three oldest daughters Gladys, Verna and Ellyn (Helen) were children of this union. By 1910, Margaret is remarried to Jacob (Jay) Acker who is 10 years her junior and we see them on the 1910 Census residing in Menasha with the three girls listed as Jay’s stepdaughters. Jay passes in 1937 and she must wed John Thomas after his passing. I found the death of her first husband , father of her three eldest daughters, Thomas James Lang on November 5, 1950 in Detroit, Michigan.
