George "Bussie" Westbrook, 64, of 924 Broadway, owner of Westbrook's Gourmet, was dead on arrival at Pekin Memorial Hospital. He was stricken at Commonwealth Edison Powerton project, where he was employed by Babcock and Wilcox as a welder.

He was born Nov. 18, 1907, at Pratt City, Ala., a son of John and Bessie Walker Westbrook. He married Pauline Green Dec. 6, 1930 at Springfield.

Surviving are his wife; a son, John G., Pekin; a daughter, Mrs. Patricia Poll, Pekin; and a sister, Mrs. Elsie Compton, San Jose, Calif.

Burial in Glendale Memorial Gardens.
