FRANKLIN - Anna (Patlowsky) Pierce, 82, of Damy Drive in Franklin, died Tuesday at Concord Hospital after a period of failing health.

She was born in Clifton, N.J., the daughter of Zackary and Theodosia (Orydiyk) Patlowsky.

She was schooled and raised in Clifton, N.J., until moving to Franklin in 1958. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, the Cub Scouts, the American Cancer Society and the Franklin Senior Citizens Club. She was a communicant of the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Franklin.

She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Pierce, in 1981. Survivors include a son, two daughters; and two sisters, Antoinette Kuhn (2002) of Paterson, N.J., and Madeline De Petro (2017) of Matawan, N.J.

There will be no calling hours.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. at the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Franklin. The Rev. William Babineau, pastor, will be the celebrant. Burial will follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Franklin.

Memorial donations may be made to the Edna C. McKenna Trust Fund, Merrimack County Treasurer, 163 N. Main St., Concord 03301.

The William F. Smart Memorial Home of Tilton is in charge of arrangements.
