Larry was a retired coal miner and most will remember him for being a big jokester. He was a family man and will be deeply missed by his many friends and family.
Larry is survived by his wife, Mary Taylor; a son, Larry Taylor, Jr.; two grandchildren: Gracie Taylor and Wyatt Taylor; his siblings: Billy Taylor, George Taylor, Everett Taylor, Joyce Franklin, and Glenna Sheets; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his first wife, Rose Taylor; his grandson, Zackery Taylor; a granddaughter, Haylee Taylor; and his siblings: Glenn Taylor, David Taylor, James Taylor, Mary Taylor, and Joan Taylor.
Family and friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, Friday, February 8, 2019, from 5 PM until the 7 PM funeral service with Pastor Rose Saunders officiating. A private entombment will take place at a later date.
