CARETTA — Rodney Harold Adams, 65, of Caretta, WV passed away Sunday September 13, 2015, from a short illness with his loving wife and family by his side. Born February 16, 1950 in Welch, WV he was the son of the late Harold and June Adams of Coalwood, WV. Rodney was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed life and was always a happy person. Rodney loved bible study with his father-in-law Roy Shrader and Wally Moore. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his first wife and a sister-in-law. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sharon Adams of the home; two sons, Chris Adams and wife Jessica of Bluefield, WV, Eric Tolley and husband Malcolm of Roanoke, VA; daughter, Jodie Wagoner and husband Chris of Coalwood, WV; his stepchildren Chasity Cassady and Hailey Hale of the home; John Wagoner of Caretta, WV; Charles Wagoner and wife Jeanette of Caretta, WV; one sister Debbie Adams of Roanoke, VA; nine grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. Funeral services will be held Sunday September 20, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Yukon #2 Pentecostal Holiness Church in Yukon, WV with the Rev. Lacy Griffith and Rev. Randy Campbell officiating. Rodney will be buried in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, WV. Friends may call at the church on Saturday September 19, 2015 from 6 to 10 pm.
