The death of Edwin Johnson, 72, occurred at Eau Claire, Saturday, December 23 (1939) following an illness of 12 years.
Funeral services were held at the Raas funeral home with the Rev. F. J. Smith in charge.
Survivors include the widow, who lives in St. Paul; one son Archie L. Johnson, St. Paul; and two daughters, both of St. Paul. Born in Sweden, Mr. Johnson came to this country at an early age. He came to Shell Lake in 1918.
