Agnes was the granddaughter of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, President Joseph Fielding Smith Sr. Her 8th Great Grandfather was John Howland. John came over on the Mayflower and was the thirteenth signer of the Mayflower Compact.
Agnes loved to laugh and had a great sense of humor. She never complained.
Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, June 6, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple Street, where friends visited with the family, one hour prior to the service.
Graveside Services followed at the Salt Lake City Cemetery where she was buried next to her Beloved Husband, Jay. Jay died on March 22, 1970.
