Mr. Barber, the aged father of Joe Barber, died yesterday at the home of the son in the northeast part of town. The funeral was held from the home at 2 o’clock this afternoon, Rev. J.C. Barker conducting. The old gentleman was 80 years of age and had been sick only one week.
