Hannah was born circa 1796 of Monongalia or Kanawha County, Virginia before she removed to where Perry Township in Gallia County, Ohio is now located. She married Samuel Allison, son of Benjamen and Rachel (Carter) Allison (a Revoluntary War Soldier). Their marriage was solemnized on May 23, 1816, as the first marriage of Perry Township. They became parents to seven children all of Perry Township, Gallia, Ohio until Hannah's death circa 1840. It is not known if she was buried in the same cemetery as her husband as early records shown no indication of her burial, however, it is known that that Chick-Carter Cemetery has once be destroyed and many vounteers tried to restore the best of the graves. This is to be dedicated to Hannah and her descendants as her legacy will not be forgotten.
