She worked many years as a caregiver for the State Supported Living Center, as well as Pinecrest. She loved reading, traveling, crocheting and playing 42 with her family and friends. She was warm, compassionate, loving, gave generously to those around her, and lived life to the fullest.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Elsie and Cecil Miles; husband of 58 years, C.L. Mathews; and sisters, Linda Thigpen and Donna Williams.
Delma is survived by her children, Angie Clemens and husband Curtis, Tricia Torres and husband Cory; grand-children, Corey ( wife Betsy) and Josh Clemens, Caleb and Lauren Torres; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Pam McGaughey and Ellen Smith; several nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Memorial service will be held March 16, 2019 at Gann Cemetery in Pollok, TX.
