Brittan W. "Britt" Fuller, age 84, of 2255 Burton St., in Beloit, Wis., passed away at home on May 4, 1998 at 11 a.m. He was born on Jan. 3, 1914 in Beloit, Wis., the son of Justin and Ruby (Robinson) Fuller. He graduated from Beloit High School in 1934. Brittan married Aldean V. Anderson June 12, 1936 in Rockton, Ill.
He was employed by Beloit College, retiring in January 1975. Gardening was such a joy to him and he loved his flowers, which he had on the patio porch every summer. He also enjoyed his "bike" riding. After retirement Britt and wife wife traveled the West and Southwest, spending part of their winters in the Rio Grande of Texas.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Aldean of Beloit, Wis.; his older brother, Durston (Terry) Fuller of Californai; two daughters, Donna Simplot of Necedah, Wis., and Roxanne Riley of Tiffany, Wis.; one son, Wesley (Bonnie) Fuller of Skandia, Mich.; seven grandchildren, Karla True of Beloit, Wis., Mark Riley of South Beloit, Ill., Rory Fuller of Papua, New Guinea, Leslie Fuller of Blacksburg, Va., Sheri Keeder of Toronto, Ohio, Randy Simplot of Winthrop Harbor, Ill., and Melody Henson of Byron, Ill.; and 14 great grandchildren.
Britt was preceded in death by his son Leslie Gene Fuller; his parents, Justin and Ruby Fuller, and one brother, Robert A. Fuller.
Funeral services will be Thursday, May 7, 1998 at 12 noon at Rosman, Uehling, Kinzer Funeral Home 1125 Cranston Road, Beloit, Wis., with Rev. Richard Hotchkin of First Congregational Church officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, May 7, 1998 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at Rosman, Uehling, Kinzer Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the East Lawn Cemetery in Beloit, Wis. Memorials may be given to Beloit Hospice.
