Catherine was very family oriented and was a devoted wife and mother. She was involved in youth programs at her church, the scouts and little league. Catherine and her husband, Roy, enjoyed travelling, sightseeing and going camping.
Surviving are husband, Roy Brown, sons, Roy Brown, Jr., Thomas Brown, Robert Brown, John Brown, Perry Brown and Michael Brown, daughters, Cathy Nilson and Barbara Van Goethen, brothers, Kenneth Fawcett and Edward Fawcett, sisters, Norene Taylor and Mary Jo Pennington; 33 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren
