Madge Fulton, age 85, passed away on March 25, 2019.

Graveside services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, April 1, 2019 at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Paducah, Texas with Mr. Trey Morgan officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 PM on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at Johnson Funeral Home.

Madge was born on October 26, 1933 in Peoria, Texas to Gainey “Doc” Dean Underwood and Allie Nora (Bradford) Underwood. She married the love of her life, Sam Fulton, on December 27, 1949 in Hillsboro and they shared 68 loving years together before his passing in 2018.

Madge spent her life helping Sam in their farming operations in both King County and Childress County. She knew the meaning of hard work, and her children learned the value of hard work through both she and Sam. She devoted herself to helping things run smoothly and getting things done, and raising her family gave her great pride and joy.

Madge was a Christian woman and was active in the Church of Christ in Paducah and and Childress. She loved to cook and clean, and her wonderful cooking was enjoyed through her pies and cakes throughout the community.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and several siblings.

Survivors include two sons, James Fulton and wife Ragena, and Ronnie Fulton and wife Taffy; two sisters, Viola Denny and Edith Bullard; two brothers, David Underwood and Paul Underwood; grandchildren, Jason Fulton and wife Diana, Dr. Ryanne Wu and husband Dr. Samson Wu, Justin Fulton, Robert Fulton, Sam Fulton and wife Tracie, and Kathryn Dolliver and husband Kyle; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
