Charles was the son of Edward Lee and Agnes Ann Schultz Brown. He served in the Air Force during WWII, in England, Germany and France, in 1945 and 1946. He served in the Army Reserve between 1949 and 1953. Charles married Jacqueline Mae Miner in West Salem, Wayne Co, Ohio on 28 December 1946. They had four children: Charlene Kay, David J, Deborah Ann and Carla Jean. Jackie is buried here in the cemetery with Charles.
