Mrs. Amanda Zoerb, 96, formerly of 2618 Adams Street, Two Rivers, died Saturday evening, Sept. 15, at the Hamilton Memorial Home, Two Rivers.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Grace Congregational Church, Two Rivers. Rev. Daniel Wright will officiate and burial will be in Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Mrs. Zoerb was born March 13, 1888, at Saxonburg, Route 1, Mishicot, daughter of the late Jens and Augusta Schmidt Halberg. She attended the District School and Manitowoc County Teachers College. For many years she taught at rural schools in Manitowoc County. In 1916 she graduated from Oshkosh Normal School and taught in Winneconne and Menasha. She married Alfred Zoerb on August 4, 1917. He preceded her in death on December 11, 1956. Mrs. Zoerb was a member of Grace congregational Church and the Two Rivers Womens Club.
Survivors include four daughters and two sons-in-law, Winifred and Reuben Plantico of Two Rivers, Nancy and Howard Rice of Anselmo, Calif., Mrs. Anna Laura Clemens of Cleveland, Ohio, and Mrs. Rachel Murrell of Pittsburgh, Pa.; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Marjorie Zoerb of Sturgeon Bay; 13 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Frederick, and three sisters.
There will be no Monday evening visitation at Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jens Halberg.
