Timothy Alexander was born on March 6, 1955 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. In his young adult life, he moved to Denver, Colorado where he stayed for 20 years before moving back to Lake Charles approximately 30 years ago.
Tim worked for the IATSE (International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees) Union for 47 years. Tim's love for music is what drove his career working backstage at various theatres. He also worked for his brother at AJT Construction.
Tim also had a great love for duck hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors.
Tim passed away Saturday, March 30, 2019 at a local care facility at age 64.
He is survived by his son, Aaron Alexander (Jessica) of Colorado; brother Ken Alexander of Ragley, LA; sisters Judith Edwards (Andrew) of Spring, TX and Carolyn Palmore of Lake Charles, LA; three grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Time was preceded in death by his parents Odelia and Orville G. Alexander, Sr., brother Orville Alexander, Jr., and an infant brother John Alexander.
Mr. Alexander's funeral service was held April 3, 2019 at St. Margaret Catholic Church in Lake Charles, LA where Father Marcus Johnson officiated. Burial followed in Consolata Cemetery in Lake Charles. Arrangements were handled through Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles.
