David J. TenPas, 55, of Plymouth, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 13, 2017 at St. Nicholas Hospital.
Dave was born April 19, 1961 in Sheboygan the son of Ervin and Pat "AJ" TenPas. He was a 1980 graduate of Elkhart Lake High School. On April 19, 2008, he was united in marriage to Diann Grunewald.
Dave worked at Bemis Manufacturing. He had a love for the outdoors and a passion for cars. Dave was an avid hunter and snowmobiler. He not only raced for a year, but could always be found lending a hand in the pits at the racetrack, and truly enjoyed restoring cars. Spending time on "The Farm" with his brother, helping and enjoying their time together was a favorite pastime of his. Dave's greatest joy was spoiling his grandchildren, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife Diann of Plymouth, children; Leda (Darryl) Carlson and Jesse TenPas both of Sheboygan, grandchildren Madison and London Carlson, brothers; Dan (Sue) TenPas of Elkhart Lake, Earl TenPas of Peshtigo, Randy TenPas, James (Sandy) TenPas of Elkhart Lake, Step-brother Clay (Margaret) Seehaver of Plymouth, sister Nancy (Jeff) Johnson of Glenbulah, father and mother-in-law Martin (Marilyn) Grunewald, sisters-in-law Connie (Tom) Engelman, Ruth (Dave) Goetsch, Donna Pantel, Amy Grunewald, and Jennifer Grunewald, special nieces; Marsha (Paul) Dirks and Michelle (Darrick) Steiner, dear friends Lester Erickson and his "Work Wife" Denise Fleming, he is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother-in-law Scott Pantel.
A visitation and celebration of Dave's life will take place on Friday, March 17, 2017 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM, at Zimmer- Westview Funeral Home, W2132 Garton Rd. Sheboygan.
