Kenosha Evening NewsMonday, May 23, 1978. Mrs. Florence Ann Knapp died suddenly Friday at the home of her daughter Mrs. Stanley Braund at Cape Cape. She was born in Brighton township August 21st, 1873 a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Dixon. She spent her early childhood there and in Union Grove going to Bristol early in life.On November 9th, 1892 she was united in marriage to Samuel Isaac Knapp who preceded her in death in 1934. She is survived by three sons, Glen of Two Rivers, Wis. Ernest of Racine, and Harvey of Bristol and one daughter Mrs. Stanley Braund of North Cape, fourteen grandchildren, her step-mother Mrs. Ada Dixon of Kenosha, one brother Edward Dixon of Racine and five sisters, Mrs. Mary Hill of Bristol, Mrs. Joseph Steinbach, Paris township and Mrs. Victor Dieu and Mrs. George Bryant of Kenosha.Her body will be at the Nealy Funeral Home at Waterford where short services will be held at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon and at 2 o'clock at Bristol Methodist church with interment following in the family plot at Hosmer Cemetery. Mrs. Knapp was a member of the Bristol M. E. church and an active worker in the Woman's Home Missionary Society.
