Samuel Isaac Knapp, 67 years, succumbed at his home in Bristol Saturday evening following an extended illness.He was born in Mayfield, N. Y., January 7, 1866, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Knapp. He was educated there coming to Pleasant Prairie township, Kenosha county, in 1882 and has made his home in Pleasant Prairie and Bristol since that time.He was a building contractor by trade and followed that trade for over twenty-five years.On November 9, 1892 he was united in marriage to Miss Florence Dixon.He is survived by his wife and by three sons and one daughter: Glen Knapp of Bristol, Ernest Knapp of Bristol, Harvey Knapp of Kenosha, Mrs. Stanley Braund of North Cape, Racine county, and by ten grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters: Mrs. Sarah Sellow of Gloversville, N. Y., and Mrs. Anna Keysor of Gloversville, N. Y.The body is at the home in Bristol where funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock from the home and 10:30 o'clock from the Methodist church, interment following in the family plot in Hosmer cemetery.
