HARVEY Homer Harvey, Jr., age 69, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at the Columbus Rehab Center. Veteran of the U.S. Air Force and retired auto mechanic for Guy's Body Shop. Predeceased by parents Homer and Edna Harvey, Sr., brother Jerome Harvey. He leaves to cherish his memory, devoted wife of 33 years,Elaine Harvey; sons, Christopher Harvey, William Revels; daughter, Alice (Melvin) Lyles; sisters, Normajean Smith of Youngstown, Oh., Velda Jefferson of Lawton, Ok., Cheryl A. Turner, Elaine (Steve) Harris; sisters-in-law, Marilyn Revels, Wilma Dunlap; special aunt, Clara Stewart of Lawton, Ok.; 13 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins¸ other relatives and friends. Homegoing Celebration 12 noon, Wednesday, June 13, 2007, at Mt. Period Baptist Church, 462 Kimball Place, Pastor Jerry M. Carter, Sr., officiating. Family will receive friends 11 a.m. until time of service. Interment Greenlawn Cemetery. Arrangements by J. MARTIN SMITH MORTUARY, 1173 E. Hudson St. 447-9383.
