Fidela was the daughter of Salmon and Elizabeth "Betsy" (Chubb) Farge Kingsley. Fidela was nine months old when she died, so would have been born about June 1808. Salmon's first wife, Alethea Smith Kingsley died 16 October 1792, and she is buried in this cemetery. Salmon and Betsey are buried in Newburgh Cemetery, Livonia, MI. Salmon was a Revolutionary War patriot. He was in Capt. John Kingsley's company of minute-men who marched from Windham, CT for the relief of Boston at the Lexington Alarm, April 1775. He was in the war at various times until its close and was at one time a sergeant.
