"Delia was born in West Scipio, NY 18 Jan 1804. They celebrated their Golden Wedding in 1869. All their children except Delia, who lived in Cali[fornia] were present. Uncle Calvin came from his home in Idaho. I was one of the grandchildren present and remember his talk to us and particularly his allusion to our Dutch ancestry through Grandmother. I have no record of Delia Bayne except that her mother's name was Mehitable Slote [Sloat]. She married the second time a man named Davis."

He lived with your mother and father a short time while he was building a home in Ovid where he could be nearer church, etc. He and grandmother [Delia (Bayne) Kingsley], George and Kate [Killens] Kingsley, are buried there [Ovid].
