Miss Travers, who was in her seventies, was born in County Leitrim, Ireland, a daughter of Michael and Mary Lynott Travers. She was brought to this country more than 50 years ago. She was a member here of St. Mary's Branch, Ladies Catholic Benevolent Association; Terrace City Circle, Companions of the Forest of America; and Division 14, Ancient Order of Hibernians. She had been a communicant of St. Peter's Church.
Surviving are two brothers, James J. Travers of San Antonio, Texas, Michael J. Travers of Yonkers, and two sisters, Mrs. Thomas F. (Margaret) Higgins and Miss Mary Travers of this city.
