Mary Hunter Millspaugh of Desha passed away Sunday, November 28, 2004 at White River Medical Center.

She was 67 years, 2 months, 22 days of age.

She was born Monday, September 6, 1937 in Desha, the daughter of Hiram Hunter and Zelda Lee (Harbin) Hunter.

She was a Licensed Practical Nurse, having graduated from the first class of Batesville Practical Nursing School. She worked at Allen's Hospital, Gray's Hospital and White River Medical Center. She helped deliver over 1,500 babies, and was a private duty nurse for many years. She was of the Methodist faith.

She is survived by a daughter, Teresa Scroggins, and her husband, Shannon of Marcella; her devoted and loving sister, Pansy Griffin, and her husband, Donnie of Desha; her precious grandchildren, the love of her life, J. J., Jordan and Jayden Scroggins; two aunts, Mildred Wantz and Etta Yansick; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Marion Franklin Hunter; and one sister, Wanda Louise Elms.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2004 at the Roller-Crouch Chapel with Brian Garrett officiating and Billy Pearson assisting.

Pallbearers are Brad Garrett, Bill Fuller, Jr., Shawn Galloway, Terry Morris, Donnie Griffin and Nick Garrett. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Bob Slaughter, Dr. Lackey Moody, Dr. James Harbin, and all physicians and nurses at White River Medical Center.

Visitation will be from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Monday, November 29, 2004.

Burial will be in Alderbrook Cemetery in Desha, Arkansas
