Mrs. Walter P. (Leonora A.) Daugs, 78, of 1032 S. 17th St., Manitowoc, died Sunday morning, March 16, at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Arno J. Wolfgramm will officiate and burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Town of Kossuth.
Mrs. Daugs, nee Leonora Krueger, was born March 7, 1902, at Newtonburg, daughter of the late Gottfried and Ottillia Herwig Krueger. She was educated at Newtonburg School and married to Walter P. Daugs April 10, 1926, at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Newtonburg, of which she had been a member since her marriage. The Mr. and Mrs. Daugs celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in April, 1976.
Survivors include her husband, Walter; two brothers, Edwin Krueger and Harland Krueger and two sisters, Mrs. Alma Carstens and Mrs. Edmund (Clalie) Hoeffner of Manitowoc and nieces and nephews. A son, Donald, preceded her in death in August, 1974. A brother and two sisters also preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 o'clock to 9 o'clock this Tuesday afternoon and at the church from noon Wednesday until the time of service. Memorials may be made to First German Evangelical Lutheran Church.
