Robert T. Grenier, age 76, of 2413 Sandy Bay Road, Two Rivers, died Saturday morning, August 1, 1992, at Two Rivers Community Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, at the Klein and Stangel Funeral Home. The Rev. Paul Schumacher will be officiating with burial at the Knollwood Memorial Gardens.
He was born January 16, 1916, at Oconto, Wis., son of the late Lesime and Laura Carriveau Grenier. He married Rose H. Karl on March 30, 1940, at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Two Rivers. He was a World War II veteran. He farmed on Hwy. 310 until 1966 and was employed at Mirro Aluminum until his retirement until 1978. He was also an avid fisherman.
Survivors include his wife, Rose of Two Rivers; a son and daughter-in-law, Marion and Bonnie Grenier of Two Rivers; two daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Wayne Van Ess of Mishicot, Carolyn and Ken Kohlwey of Manitowoc; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Julius and Helen Grenier of Mishicot, William and Carol Grenier of Sun Prairie; five sisters and four brothers-in-law, Marie and Marty Brenner of Waunakee, Doris Zuehkle of Green Bay, Violet and Joe Tadych of Two Rivers, Norma and Aaron Klein of Manitowoc, Donna and Bob Zellner of Waunakee; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Lawrence and Edmund; and new sister, Erma Hetue.
Friends may call at the Klein and Stangel Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, where there will be a prayer service at 7 p.m.
