Mrs. Lillian E. Hibbard, 86, a Manitowoc resident, died Tuesday evening, December 29, 1987 at Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be 9:30 am Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 am at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Leo J. Schmitt will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial and burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Hibbard, nee Lillian Elizabeth Schweigl was born December 14, 1901 at Manitowoc, daughter of the late Charles and Fances Wuellner Schweigl. She was married to Jerome F. Hibbard January 18, 1921. The couple had the honor of celebrating their Golden Wedding Anniversary in 1971. Her husband preceded her in death July 2, 1981. Mrs. Hibbard was a charter member of the Christian Women Society of Holy Innocents Catholic Church.

Survivors include five sons and four daughters-in-law, Robert and peg Hibbard of Branch, Ronald and Donna Hibbard of Valders, LeRoy and Beverly Hibbard, Rodney and Nancy Hibbard and Richard Hibbard, all of Manitowoc; two daughters and a son-in-law, Carol and Fred Reseburg and Frances E. Hibbard, all of Manitowoc; a brother and three sisters-in-law, Edwin and Lila Schweigl and Mrs. Martha Schweigl of Manitowoc and Mrs. Xelda Schweigl of California; a sister, Mrs. Frances Hansen of Manitowoc; 21 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers, a sister and four grandchildren, Derik, Gerald, James and David Hibbard.

Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 pm to 8 pm Friday where a prayer service will be 7:30 pm by Deacon Don Gigure.
