Thank you for visiting our sweet Othello. Our hearts are broken.

Othello was a sweet black and white tuxedo kitty that my daughter and her fiancee found near our house, huddled up next to a wall trying to stay warm in the cold a few months ago. They brought him in and fed and warmed him up. They took his photos and posted on facebook lost and found sites and searched the neighborhood looking for his family, but no one claimed him. They also took him to the vet to see if he had a chip with family name on it but he didnt. She got him checked over and got him shots. He also had breathing issues that we couldn't get fixed. The vet said whoever had him before, probably didn't want to deal with his health issues and tossed him out.

So he became part of our family.
He had the sweetest way about him and loved everyone. He had the sweetest purr meow. He always loved to cuddle and lay in my daughters lap to sleep. His best friend was my daughters other kitty Chitten. They would chase each other and play. They also would sleep at night on my daughters bed. He loved fuzzy balls and kitty toys. He had a favorite stuffed kitty that he loved to cuddle with.
After being outside in the cold alone, he would cry when my daughter would go anywhere. We would love him up and make him feel better.
He also had a silly side. You never left your cup or glass of something to drink, where he could reach it. Because he would jump up and knock it on the floor with his paw.

He would have breathing issues and have to give him medicine and use oxygen to help him. Then he would feel a bit better. He started getting worse the past week and last night got real bad. My daughter and her fiancee had to make the hard decision to put him to sleep.

Our sweet little Othello was only with us for 4 months but feels like years. In that short time, he took a piece of our hearts and now our hearts are broken.
