Agnes M. Klingeisen, age 80, formerly of 1105 Grand Avenue, Manitowoc, died Wednesday afternoon, October 23, 1991 at the Manitowoc Health Care Center.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Andrew's Catholic Church. Concelebrating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Revs. James Stamborski and Agnes' nephew, Father Richard Klingeisen. Burial will follow at Knollwood Memorial Gardens.
She was born Agnes Margaret Wimmer on July 31, 1911 in the town of Newton, daughter of the late John and Anna Spaeth Wimmer. She resided in Manitowoc County all her life, and was married to Robert Klingeisen on October 7, 1936 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Alverno. He preceded her in death on July 22, 1975. She was a member of St. Andrew's Parish.
Survivors include one brother, Raymond Wimmer, Sr. of Manitowoc; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Clarence and Irene Klingeisen of Manitowoc, Lester and Delores Klingeisen of Cato; three sisters and three brothers-in-law, Lillian Savage of Reedsville, Violet and Alois Schleis of Two Creeks, Maryann and John Preston of Manitowoc, and Wilfred Miller of Florida; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert, and a brother Rueben Wimmer.
Friends may call at St. Andrew's Catholic Church from 10:00 a.m. Saturday until the time of service. Pfeffer Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
