She was a graduate of the Bradford High School and the Visitation Academy of the Villa de Chantal , Rock Island. Miss Code was engaged In Welfare Work for over forty years, being Superintendent of the Stark County Public Aid Assistance Office, In Toulon, the past twenty years. A faithful member of St. John's Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society, she was also a member of the Bradford Woman's Civic League and the National Federation of Catholic Alumni. Always interested in Civic and philanthropic affairs she took an active part In all community projects. During World War II she served as chairman of the Stark County Red Cross.
