Charles Aylwin, son of Thomas Cushing Aylwin (1777- ) and Louise Catherine Connolly was also brother of the late Judge Thomas Cushing Aylwin (1806-1871)

Charles Aylwin married Hebe Louisa ALLSOPP, widow of late James ALLSOPP, paymaster on 26 May 1849 in Québec city at the Québec Anglican Cathedral Holy Trinity Church.
At Quebec, Charles Aylwin, Esq., to Hebe Louisa, relict of James Allsopp, Esq., Paymaster of the 44th and 17th Regiments and daughter of James Williams, Paymaster to the 2nd battalion who took part in the latter years of the Peninsular Campaign and was awarded the Waterloo medal and General Service medal.
