LENA LENZ

Mrs. Lena Lenz, 77, of 1218 Geele Ave., died late Wednesday morning at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital after a short illness.

Born in the Town of Meeme on Dec. 25, 1887, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Poppenhagen. On Nov. 15, 1910, she was married to August Lenz at Zion Lutheran Church at Louis Corners.

The couple farmed in Manitowoc County for 33 years prior to moving to Sheboygan in 1944. Her husband died in 1964.
Mrs. Lenz was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and the Frauenverein of the church.

Survivors are four sons, Arnold and Norbert of Green Lake, Alvis of Newton, Clarence of Tomah, and seven grandchildren. Two children preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. The Rev. Victor Pera, assistant pastor, will officiate and burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery at Louis Corners.
