Mrs. Deshotel, 82, of Mamou, entered eternal rest on Friday, May 31, 2019 at Rapides Reginal Medical Center in Alexandria, LA.
Mrs. Jeanie was a longtime member of the Pine Prairie United Pentecostal Church and known as a strong prayer warrior. She as a loving mother and grandmother, and loved a hot cup of tea.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lualer Ware; her husband, Telisma Deshotel, Jr. and one daughter, Gennell Frederick
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include three sons, Rev. David Doyle and his wife, Carolyn, of Monticello, Arkansas, Ricky Deshotel of Mamou and Danny Deshotel and his fiancé, Angela Messer, of L'anse Gris; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Friends may call at Pine Prairie United Pentecostal Church on Monday, June 3, 2019, from 12:00 p.m. until time of services at 2:00 p.m.
