Mary L. Calvert 71, rural Robinson, died Monday January 6, 2003 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois. She was born February 19, 1931 in Olney, Illinois and was the daughter of Ralph Wilson and Margaret (Herrin) Wilson. On July 15, 1946, she married William Burton "Bill" Calvert who died June 5, 1996. Mary had worked at the Ettlebrick Shoe Factory in Robinson and was a homemaker. Her hobbies included crocheting, sewing and she was an avid reader.

Mary is survived by 2 sons and daughters-in-law Robert R. "Butch" & Pam Calvert and Billy & Connie Calvert; 6 daughters and sons-in-law Twila & Roger Reynolds, Linda & Frank Kaiser, Vickie Calvert & Tom Longstaff, Connie & Larry McCord, Barbara & Mike Weck and Nikki & James Newell; 22 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 4 brothers and sisters-in-law Roy & Vivian Wilson, Jim & Betty Wilson, Ralph & Jenny Wilson and Bob & Sandy Wilson; 1 sister Barbara Lietzke; sister-in-law & brother-in-law Maydean & Eugene Baker; brother-in-law & sister-in-law Dwight & Pat Calvert; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Her parents, husband and one great grandson Cody Wayne Waggoner precede Mary in death.

Burial in the Mound Cemetery, rural Jasper County, Illinois.
