Mrs. Elizabeth DeLapp, 76, widow of Fred DeLapp and a former resident of the Town of Scriba, died today in Utica.
She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Judson Gorton and attended the Methodist church. Her only son, William died in 1951.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Lela Johnston, Oswego; a brother, Arthur Gorton, Mexico, and eight grandchildren, William, Robert and Richard DeLapp all serving in Germany with the Armed Forces; Donald, Loretta, Mary, Patricia and Peggy DeLapp, all of Oswego.
Friends are invited to call at the Newton M. Coe funeral home Sunday evening from 7 to 9 and to attend the funeral services at the funeral home Monday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery, Orwell.
