Abe Linde March 29, 1915 - Dec. 24, 2006 Resident of Walnut Creek. Abe Linde of Walnut Creek, CA, died December 24, 2006 of natural causes. Abe was 91 years of age, born in Manhattan, NY, on March 29, 1915 to Solomon Linde and the former Gussie Lipshitz. Abe graduated from Morris High School on June 30, 1929. He married Hilda Flamholtz on March 26, 1939, who survives him. Abe worked for Montgomery Ward in the New York buying office for 40 years before his retirement in 1977. Abe's love of exercise was exceeded only by his love for his family. He was loved and respected as patriarch of his family as well as for his wisdom, humor, patience and quiet strength, which will be missed by all who knew him.
