CHALLONER, Jean Hope Yarmouth, formerly of Deerfield passed away in Yarmouth Regional Hospital on October 26, 2008. Born in Forest Glen, Yarmouth Co., on February 14, 1929, she was a daughter of Alden Bethune, Forest Glen and Bernice Nickerson-Richfield. She was a member of the Brazil Lake Wesleyan Church and had been attending the Yarmouth Weslyan church for a number of years. She worked for the Clothes Pin Factory in Carleton, was a cook at a logging camp in Deerfield, where she met her husband, Norman Lloyd. She was predeceased by husband, Norman Lloyd; sister, Geraldine; grandson, Nathan LeBlanc; son, Larry and daughter, Elaine.
